Eine wunderbare Zeit..
...hatten wir in der bezauberndwn Unterkunft von Madame Papa. Das Haus war einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Vermietern war wirklich super nett und sehr darum bemüht uns einen schönen Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Auch uns hat sie mit ihren selbstgebackenen Keksen verwöhnt. Der Pool war super und die Umgebung mitten in den Weinfeldern grossartig. Danke für den tollen Urlaub!!

Nous avons passé deux belles semaines au milieu des vignes dans lesquelles nous avons pu nous balader. L endroit est tres calme, ideal pour le repos. La piscine est grande et il y a également d autres équipements dans le grand jardin, comme un filet de badmington, une table de ping pong... Catherine et son epoux sont à l ecoute et tres discret. L'hebergement est simple avec les equipements suffisants. Nous le recommandons :)

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage
Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und ruhig in den Weinbergen gelegen. Der dazugehörige Pool ist schön und sehr sauber. Im Haus selbst ist alles Notwendige vorhanden. Es hat ein sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Zudem gibt es eine geräumige Terrasse. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. WLAN funktioniert tadellos. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Ein toller Ort für einen schönen Familienurlaub. Zum Strand benötigt man etwas über 30 Minuten. Diesen gibt es in Saint-Georges-de-Didonne oder Royan. In der Nähe sind viele sehenswerte Orte wie Bordeaux oder Cognac. Pons ist auch sehr schön. Allerdings nicht groß. In der mittleren Schublade im Buffetschrank sind viele Prospekte, um sich inspirieren zu lassen für mögliche Ausflüge. Planet Exotica und der Train de mouettes waren auch sehr toll.

La maison est très spacieuse et située au calme dans les vignes. La piscine associée est belle et très propre. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est disponible dans la maison elle-même. Il y règne une ambiance très chaleureuse. Il y a aussi une terrasse spacieuse. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et serviables. Le WiFi fonctionne parfaitement. La maison était très propre. Un endroit idéal pour de belles vacances en famille. Il faut un peu plus de 30 minutes pour arriver à la plage située à Saint-Georges-de-Didonne ou à Royan. Il existe de nombreux endroits à voir à proximité, comme Bordeaux ou Cognac. Pons est aussi très beau. Cependant, pas grand. Dans le tiroir du milieu du buffet se trouvent de nombreuses brochures pour s'inspirer d'éventuelles excursions. Planet Exotica et le train de mouettes étaient super aussi. Fabulous 3 bed gite with a large pool, air con, fast wifi, outdoor games and UK tv channels. Great for families. Handily placed - 30mins to Royan, 40 mins to Cognac, 50 mins to Bordeaux. Catherine, the hostess, couldn't do more for us. We had a great time (despite the weather) and would heartily recommend this idyllic, quiet get-away.

Nous sommes actuellement dans la maison La Galerie. C'est une maison très propre. C'est cosy et très calme. La piscine est immense, même si vous la partagez avec les locataires de la maison voisine. Sur le pré il y a la possibilité de jouer au ping-pong, de se balancer. Le pré est immense aussi. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et toujours prêts à vous aider si vous avez des questions. La réception avait les meilleurs cookies du monde. En plus d'une machine à café normale, la cuisine dispose également d'une machine Dolce Gusto. Il y a un lave-vaisselle et une machine à laver. Deux salles de bains et 4 chambres avec un total de 8 lits sont disponibles.
(Avis d'origine) Wir sind derzeit im Haus La Galerie. Es ist ein sehr sauberes Haus. Es ist gemütlich und ganz ruhig. Der Pool ist riesig, auch wenn man ihn mit den Mietern des Nachbarhaus teilt. Auf der Wiese gibt es die Möglichkeit Tischtennis zu spielen, zu schaukeln. Auch die Wiese ist riesig. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und wenn man Fragen hat, immer hilfreich zur Stelle. Beim Emfang gab es die besten Cookies der Welt. Die Küche hat neben einer normalen Kaffeemaschine auch eine Dolce Gusto Maschine. Es gibt eine Spülmaschine und eine Waschmaschine. Zwei Badezimmer und 4 Schlafzimmer mit insgesamt 8 Schlafmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden.

Lovely three bedroomed gite in a small hamlet. Catherine and her husband were wonderful hosts and were very attentive without being intrusive. Fantastic L shaped pool, immaculate and clean. Gite was fully equipped and we highly recommend it, especially if you want the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le gîte est confortable, parfait pour se reposer et se déconnecter. Il est bien situé. Notre Catherine est adorable et discrète. We had an amazing time here. We have 3 boys age 10,8 and 3. All of them loved this gite and the pool. It was such a wonderful stress free holiday. We didn't travel far at all from the gite, the boys were happy enough at the gite. We borrowed the bikes a few days and cycled to St. Ciers or just found a route round the various vinyards and sunflower fields. It was great to go downhill but tough to come back up! The gite was in a great location, close to beaches and shops. The BBQ was amazing we used vinewood! Sarah and the children made us feel soooo welcomed. My boys didn't want to come home. They loved the space, the freedom, the pool and the various games outside. The pool had plenty of pool toys but it could be a bit cold for my 3yr old, but he was happy pottering in and out of the water and around the pool. My husband and I felt very safe and totally relaxed. We arrived after a stressful time hiring a car, but the wine and fruit was such a lovely welcome. We relaxed with wine by the pool area as the BBQ was cooking. The gite was perfect. We could watch the boys play in the garden and in the pool from the gite. A fantastic holiday. The gite is one of two on the site, well-equipped and spotlessly clean with a lovely pool, huge garden with lots of things to amuse the children and very friendly family to point us in the direction of some great places to visit: an amphitheatre, lovely beaches, Cognac and super restaurants in a local harbour. The gite is surrounded by vineyards and sunflower fields; a tranquil place within easy access of supermarkets and well-stocked boulangeries. We had a terrific time."

The surrounding area is beautiful and there is plenty to see and do, without having to go far at all. We left knowing that there is much more to explore and will be back I am sure.
La Galerie is beautiful and bright and perfiect for the whole family. Accommodation on both levels meant it was ideal for elderly parents who were travelling with us, as they did not have to worry about going up or down any stairs.The kids loved having the use of the pool as well as the ground space to play in. "Just back from a fabulous week at the Gites. My family rented both properties and all three generations have come back feeling thoroughly relaxed and rested from our break in the beautiful French countryside. Sarah has refurbished the gites to a high standard with everything immaculately painted, fresh and clean. The area is beautiful - so many great places to visit, plus grapevines and sunflowers as far as the eye can see.
